UK airports reopen after ash cloud disruption
Airports in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland and the far south-west of England have reopened after the latest disruption caused by volcanic ash from Iceland.Flights were grounded across some parts of the UK on Monday due to rising ash levels in the skies from the erupting Eyjafjallajökull volcano.
The ash cloud has since moved west and cleared UK airspace, according to air traffic control body Nats.
Last month, ash clouds from Iceland's Eyjafjallajökull volcano grounded flights for six days, causing worldwide chaos for holidaymakers.
